Re: I've Got the Fever!

Mmmmm.... Computer porn is always welcome... lol Also MSI has an app as they call it (Command Center) to adjust CPU clock speeds on the desktop after booted or you can just leave it to boost as needed. I set mine at 4.25 Ghz, just a lil bit OC. My GPU on the other hand I have OC'd at 1650 MHz (1485 ...

Re: I've Got the Fever!

Your base clock will be 3.8ghz, but that 12 core beast has a 4.6 ghz boost. The XMP profile loaded into the BIOS will set your Memory timings independently. It took a BIOS update after the R5 2700X release for it to run DDR4 3200, till then it was locked at DDR4 2933. You just have to remember to ch...

Re: I've Got the Fever!

With my board (MSI 470 Gaming) I went with the G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) since it had the low timing memory and it was the fastest I could use with the board though in theory I could OC it more. I just went with one of the 2 the given XMP profiles that matched what I wanted. https://www....

Re: I've Got the Fever!

Nice, as an AMD fanboy I approve. The MSI boards have been good to me, and the BIOS are easily updated which you should do to get full potential of that beast of a processor. The BIOS interface is quite pleasant once you get used to it, it'll be a matter of finding the right profile for your memory ...

Re: DirectX bug in the new Modern Warfare

I haven't had the Dev 6065 error yet, but it still has the 5 second freeze in every match. I think the patch was more for the console players TBH. They did nerf the 725 and M14 so they say, but I really don't use them. Im liking the Oden. Patch notes here https://www.gamespot.com/articles/call-of-du...

Re: DirectX bug in the new Modern Warfare

Since AMD has kind of forgotten about its once flagship card Vega, I have done a little digging.Seems though I had the correct driver for my card (19.8.2), but the game is requiring the optional driver 19.10.2.... I still have a momentary freeze in game, but haven't crashed yet. What Driver version ...
