Any IP address. Yours will return 0 ping!
With the pathping command, the first couple hops will be your router/modem, then your ISP's computers, then a turkey trail to your final address.

Is that good? Here's one you can try. In a command prompt type: [pathping] [space] [whatever-IP-address] like: pathping 66.55.158.74 which will check every damn hop to DLC server, takes a few minutes. Or, just: ping 66.55.158.74 a lot faster. Look for lost packets, huge spikes, bottlenecks.

I was suffering similar BS last year. I believe my router was crapping out, maybe too many lightning strikes.
Can you borrow another one to test? Alternatively, buying a new one & having two to swap out is very nice!
