I Know this aint as good as a telescope, but there is an app for your phone called skyview and it will show on your phone the planets or stars when you point your phone at them, it also maps out the constellations. Either android or Iphone. :dsunny:

On my phone (Android) I just use Google Sky and on my iPad I use StarWalk. Pretty handy to lookup what you're seeing or can't locate. I have a telescope too but just a basic one. There's a lot of light pollution where I live unfortunately so sometimes I take it with me on holidays to the mountains: biiiig difference!

Don't slip when you're looking through your Telescope...We don't want to call out the Dutch Mountain Rescue !!! .

Google sky is not as good as sky view I dont think.
