Is that good?
Here's one you can try.
In a command prompt type:

[pathping] [space] [whatever-IP-address]

like: pathping 66.55.158.74

which will check every damn hop to DLC server, takes a few minutes.

Or, just: ping 66.55.158.74 a lot faster.

Look for lost packets, huge spikes, bottlenecks.

Any IP address. Yours will return 0 ping!
With the pathping command, the first couple hops will be your router/modem, then your ISP's computers, then a turkey trail to your final address.

Sorry for the delay, hosed my Win 10 install somehow, will NOT boot. :nea: My famous quote (see signature) comes to mind as I read & dabble with diskpart, bootrec, bootsect, bcdedit, & bcdboot. Too stubborn to re-install & I really don't want to start pulling hardware.

The ping command pings an address 4 times & & hopefully gives you these results. Anything else & you should complain to someone.
A nice low ping 4 times , same low average, No large spikes(like an extra 100 ms) in your ping & NO packet loss ever! Packets sent & received 100%.

pathping shows all the hops to an address, resolves names of those servers your ping goes thru starting from your computer? & router. It gives you info similar to the ping command. You can see where the problem is right away , if a connectivity problem is happening when you do it. ( some servers block this sort of thing so that it looks like breaks in the flow but you can ignore them)

I can't remember what the hell I did to fix my Black Ops last summer unless maybe it was the router. Or a clean install :dontknow:
ymmv :sportbike:
