Hidden Virus in Ring of Elysium?

Greetings all,
I recently had an SSD freeze on me and replaced it ASAP. Upon re-installing games on my Games Drive my anti-virus popped up and gave me this trojan ID with Ring of Elysium, ludicrouz.v... It seems to be some kind of mining trojan. Anyone else have any info? I've googled and been to the steam forums, but some are saying it's false. :dontknow:

Trojan ludicrouz.v. I try the game and this trojan is not from the game Ring of Elysium. This Trojan work on Win32 only and it is a old one. Microsoft say to run Windows Defender and it's should be eliminate. Try to run ADWcleaner.

I have RoE installed (only played once so far) and haven't had any problems. I'll run a couple of scans with different AV softwares and see what comes up. I did read about others having malware related problems possibly after installing RoE.

What protection do you run? I run Malwarebytes Premium. But like I said, I'll hit my PC with some other AV scanners.

It was during the install that windows defender popped up and named it. didn't happen on the first install.. just after clean build

Microsoft say to run Windows Defender and should clean with a full scan.
This Trojan can come from a corrupted device or from a download file.

FWIW I scanned my computer up and down with all kinds of software. Nothing found that could relate to RoE :heat:
Then again, I didn't install a newer build of the game. Now wondering if I should... :blink:
